32’ Trunk Cabin Yacht

A Pretty Sight in any Harbor

Our Trunk Cabin Yacht is a development of our successful Iris, which you can see in our boats gallery. We expanded on Iris to give this boat twin engines, more beam, a bigger cockpit, more seating, and more interior.

Twin 180-260 h.p. diesels will give her a good turn of speed, and with roughly 180 gallons of fuel, good range as well. Engine boxes below the helm seats make easy work of engine access and daily fluid checks.

Her cabin is arranged like that of IRIS to incorporate a split companionway hatch that opens up the cabin top into the cockpit, providing standing headroom alongside the galley while preserving her elegant profile.

A generous berth separated by a pair of settees opens the cabin, creating a feeling of spaciousness not commonly found in a 32’ yacht of classical proportions.

An enclosed head and ample seating throughout provide yacht amenities that are suitable for a couple’s coastal cruising. Isinglass curtains can zip up around the hardtop to keep the weather out and extend the boating season.

This little yacht would be a pretty sight in any harbor, and Van Dam would like to build it for you!
