CYCLONE – Classic Limousine Designed for the cool weather of the Great Lakes, Cyclone resurrects a rare classic runabout style – the Limousine. In the 20’s and 30’s the Limousine was the top of the line for the major builders, and Cyclone continues this tradition. Her look is classic elegance, her function is to provide open water enjoyment and dockside entertainment. Careful use of interior space permits amenities such as a wet bar, refrigerator, icebox, coffee maker and head. The limousine top offers 6’-2” of standing headroom, and a snug V-berth provides room for an overnight stay. Sliding windows in the cockpit and a large flush foredeck hatch allow excellent ventilation either underway or at the dock. A premium sound system and speakers are tastefully concealed within Van Dam’s exquisite joinery, preserving the classic ambiance. Cyclone is powered with two Mercruiser
502 cubic inch V8 engines coupled to V-drives. Her efficient hull
shape allows an effortless and economical cruising speed of 25 plus mph,
but full throttle will take her to 55 mph. The main and auxiliary
tanks store 185 gallons of fuel, enough for extended cruising.
