Experience with inventory and purchasing is preferred and knowledge of LEAN practices is appreciated.  This position is offered as a part time position, year-round, with the opportunity to grow to full time for a person with the right skill set.  This person will be accountable for:

– Purchasing materials and supplies for projects

– Inventory pricing and keeping pricing current

– PO management

– Parts checked in – orders are correct

– Parts are where they need to be when they need to be there

– Stock kept at correct levels

– Find and recommend parts

– Vendor relationships

– Ensuring pricing is best possible

– Inventory system

– Pricing for materials on quotes

– Reorganization of parts room

– Interface with our sister company, Boyne Boat Yard, on needed parts
