Cory grew up right in the middle of the mitten state, in a town called Ithaca. He attended Baker College, earning a degree in Computer Science with a focus in CAD Design. He is certified in SolidWorks and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
He and his wife, Bridgette, live in Lake City. In the warm season, they enjoy boating and camping together. He couldn’t pick just one favorite lake or waterway to boat on, so it’s easy to see that boating to them is more about the journey of the ride than the destination. A few of his favorite places to boat are Higgins Lake, Traverse City Marina, Mackinac Island Marina, Torch Lake, and Indian River.
Cory embraces all four seasons, a true Northern Michigan characteristic, and spends the other seasons either on his mountain bike or downhill skiing.
What he loves most about his work as a Design Engineer is the variety of projects that let him solve problems in a creative way.
