Wooden Boats for Sale: Van Dam Certified Legends Now Available
Van Dam boats don’t come up for sale very often.
The owners tend to keep them. When they do decide to move on, the transition usually happens quietly — through relationships and word of mouth, not listings.
That’s changing. Van Dam now manages the full sale process for owners who are ready: marketing, showings, and a seamless transition to new ownership. And right now, a select few exceptional boats are available.

How Swede It Is — 38-Foot Sedan Cruiser
How Swede It Is is the kind of boat that makes people stop walking and start staring.
Built in 2003, she’s a 38-foot Sedan Cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta diesels producing 880 horsepower combined, with a cruising range of 350 miles. At 16,500 lbs of displacement over an 11’6″ beam, she’s substantial — and she carries herself accordingly.
In 2021, Van Dam completed a major refit, making her fully turnkey and ready for her next adventure. Classic Van Dam exterior. Fully updated mechanicals. Rare in any market.

Luv N It — 36-Foot Limousine Dayboat
Launched in 2015, Luv N It is designed for the cool weather of the Great Lakes and the refined atmosphere of Lake Geneva. She blends classic 1920s elegance with modern wooden boat craftsmanship. At 36 feet, she’s a limousine-styled dayboat with sheltered comfort and the unmistakable precision of a Van Dam build.

Silvan — Van Dam Hull #1 (1980)
You can’t buy history. Except here, you can.
Silvan was the very first commissioned Van Dam build, launched in 1980 as a 30-foot sailboat. She’s traveled from the Midwest to Southern California and now returns to Boyne City ready for a new chapter. She needs a refit — but for someone who understands what they’re looking at, she’s a living piece of wooden boat building history and an appreciating asset in any serious collection.

Moody Blue — 36-Foot Racing Sailboat (Built 1984)
Designed by Nelson/Marek Yacht Design and built for pure performance, Moody Blue is a 36-foot custom wooden racing sailboat in need of significant restoration. Her lines and racing pedigree make her a worthy candidate for renewal — for the right buyer with the right vision.
