A Stout Beauty Refined for the Ages
How Swede It Is, (formerly known as Blue Star), is a 38′ Sedan Cruiser inspired from the downeast style boats- timeless classics. She was designed with speed and efficiency in mind. With an approximate 350-mile cruise range, her twin 440HP Yanmar diesels can take you to the furthest reaches of the water. With twin screws and a bow thruster, you’ll be able to navigate the tightest slip & ally with ease.
Designed by Van Dam Custom Boats, she was made for coastal cruising, 2-4 aboard. Any guests on deck will notice her craftsmanship and flawless details. From the inlaid dinette table to the quarter sawn maple sole, you cannot help but marvel over the precision at hand.
The exterior design and ride are as exceptional as the interior joinery. How Swede It Is can shoulder heavy seas and cut through chop when things get nautical.
With an updated electronics package, genset and modern conveniences aboard, you’ll find it easy to navigate to a remote cove and drop the hook. How Swede It Is was created so her passengers could enjoy all the comforts of home while on the water at peace. She is a perfect blend of raw power, classic design, and timeless elegance.
How Swede It Is received a major refit from the craftsman at Van Dam in 2021. New paint, complete refinish on the bright work, cockpit & interior cushions, new swim platform, FreedomLift and a cockpit sun shade to name just a few of the upgrades given to her by the same craftsman that built her in 2003.
