Exclusively for Gage Marine
This beautiful 27′ runabout is 1 of 5 in the Gage-Hacker series built by Van Dam Custom Boats. The African and Honduran Mahogany boat is powered by a Mercruiser 350 MAG that has 165 hours on the engine. She has a triple planked bottom and is hermetically sealed with epoxy. This virtually eliminates the opportunity for rot and greatly reduces maintenance expense from UV exposure. As you look throughout her nooks and crannies you will consistently be impressed at the joinery and elegance of her design.
This series was designed and built by Van Dam exclusively for Gage Marine of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. With this commission, Gage Marine wanted to resurrect their own brand that was built by them in the 1950’s, called a Gage-Hacker. Gage Marine came to Van Dam to bring this brand back to life because they wanted a boat with impeccable workmanship and design. As is typical, Van Dam delivered that in spades. Currently calling Walloon Lake, Michigan home, she has undergone a subtle name change with her new owners titling her “After Five”. No matter what time of day, she is a Van Dam classic.
